Alfonso Selgas
Welcome to Alfonso Selgas official website!
Alfonso Selgas was born in Loro (Pravia, Asturias) in 1944. He studied Law at the University of Oviedo, and Etching at the Avilés School of Arts and Crafts. After that, he was given an Avilés City Council scholarship to study Art in Barcelona.
During his professional career he has exhibited his artworks in several galleries, both in Spain and abroad. In addition, he has taught drawing and painting lessons, cooperated with the faculty of the Computing Engineering Department of Gijón to make animations, and illustrated novels and stories. He currently lives in Gijón (Asturias) and remains active working as a creative and prolific artist.
